Step by Step Installation

To start your layout, place stakes to represent the location of the front of the wall. Using a string line or paint, mark out the entire length.

 

Excavate the area by removing all surface vegetation and organic materials from the area.

 

Install Sheets Drive sheets 2’ into the ground. This locks the wall in place and also helps prevent erosion and scouring at the base of the wall.

  Step Four

Install Back Fill and Grid Compact soils to a minimum of 95% Standard Proctor compaction, placing fill in 8" lifts on a course-by-course basis or as specified by a Professional Engineer. Roll grid out behind the wall, length of Geogrid rule of thumb is that the minimum reinforcement length is 60% of the wall height.
